Schrophulariaceae

Torenia fournieri

Species: Torenia fournieri

Native to Asia, most probably Vietnam. A herbaceous plant that bloom frequently. Give it lots of potassium to promote flowering. You could plant it from full sun to partial shade. (I grow them in full sun). It could handle slightly acidic soil. It propagates through cuttings. Water plant freely. This plant is quite aggressive in the sense where other plants usually do not thrive when this species is grown beside them. This wishbone flower is beautiful and they grow very easily!!

Otacanthus caeruleus

Species: Ocanthus caeruleus

Brazilian snapdragon is what it’s commonly called. You normally find this growing in the horticultures here in Brunei. They grow beautifully and it is scented! I use them as cut flowers to put in a little vase at home. They are easily grown, and they can grow quite tall up to a meter.
