二十九. Super Duper Busy.
I’ve never felt so so busy for awhile now. I have been occupied with finishing reports recently – there was one where I was trying to draw a cladogram from understanding the morphologies of the family Zingiberales and there was another where I have to understand the variations of some physical parameters of intact forest and a disturbed forest – this of course included field work and a report write up. Just when I thought I could put my legs and relax for a bit, I was given an assignment, a major one in fact, on assessing the destructed mangrove area in Bengkurong Masin. The gang and I spent three trips down from Damuan to Bengkurong just to obtain the relevant data – some of us went down to the mud to study the destructed habitat, others were assessing the river quality and then there were another lot who looked at the distribution of proboscis monkey. It was a great deal of work! The write-up for that awaits me.
I just realised I didn’t post anything on my birthday – which is a surprise – usually, I would drop a few lines just to quickly describe the day. All I could remember was doing reports and receiving lots of Happy Birthday greetings through facebook. Ah! then there was a quick dinner out with family (we finished our food so quickly, we barely stayed at the restaurant for an hour)… but that was just about it. haha. I got a lovely gift from Foon and Fang, it’s a book I’m currently reading: The Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova. So far, I’m enjoying it. Actually, I very much like it. =) hehe.
In a few weeks time, it’ll be end-of semester exam. sigh. I haven’t prepared much – actually, I haven’t prepared anything! By the time I finished all my reports, I’m usually so exhausted. I think I need to find some time to start writing up quick notes to help me through the exam. SIGH.

Linji!!! elizabeth kostova???? from where? i want to read ehhh. haha i enjoyed her last book “the historian”
and she’s one of hree only authors that i sanggup buy no matter how thinkc and sanggup read even tho i hate reading fictional stuff. (thats includes dan brown and paulo coelho) haha
ohhh!! you read ‘the Historian’ too?? Wasn’t it brilliant?!! haha I love it! I’m enjoying this one too, it’s really got me reading! Arah Best Eastern ada i think.. they got the poster put up. haha =D I’ve been eyeing on that book for a long time dah.. ;D nyehehe.. Hold on, you mean you like Dan Brown, Elizabeth Kostova and Paulo Coelho?? =D nice mixture I must say!! ;D Have you tried Mitch Albom? =D
inda hahaha apparently these are the only authors i read (aside from history non fiction books) haha mcm they are the only once that managed to make me read books wah. hahaha and that means they’re awesome lol.
