167. Memorable night.
I did. It’s no good but I did skip that one lecture on Saturday morning. I spent a couple of hours, perhaps three to four hours at the International Convention Centre. I had an exciting and tiring morning. Role on stage was not as difficult as I thought it would be. However, I swear I did have a little trouble remembering what I was told to do the day before. In front of the Princess, on stage – infront of the mass audience, perfection is important. Keep smiling is a must.
Right after the Opening ceremony, after the Royal Entourage left the building, I too left for UBD. Thank goodness, I did manage to make it for Math in the afternoon.
A little before 6.30pm, I left for Li Gong. Guests started arriving at 6.45pm, dinner started at a little past 7pm. We had, chinese food, of course. It made me wonder how the foreigners like the food being served. While we enjoy ourselves with the fabulously made dishes, we were entertained by four students who performed some cultural dances. In between those smooth and colourful performances, we listened to some speeches from the Guests speakers – first, Mr.Nathan Chasing Horse and then Mr.Adrian Lasimbang.
Previous Conference, with Prof. Wangari Maathai, she inspired us with her story of the hummingbird. There is no doubt – the students took the message with them back home. And this year, we have another inspiring story from Mr.Nathan. This time, he insipired us with his stories made from experience, made from his broad knowledge and understanding.
I took a little video of him singing the, if I am not mistaken, the “Recovery Song”.
Oh, it’s so blurry~*

Season's Greetings!
seems like that was a really busy day for you.~ but it sounded like it was fun and touching :]
