128. Would you hire…

someone with a high degree over a person who has 10 years experience on the same field?

It’s a random thought.

I have been studying and studying, with a few years of experience working in different sorts of jobs in between. I just wonder… if ever you are a boss and you had to choose between someone who has gone through years of studying a particular field and another who has hands on experience on the same field… would you choose the one with the degree?

I am sure there are other aspects you have to take into consideration but what if both are equally good and the only thing that differentiates them is one with a degree and one without?
