71.So, next is…

So we talked about pursuing a job we like to do, we talked about how money just flows in if we love the job we do… but what exactly is that job? Do you know? Do you really know what you love doing?

That, my friends, are some much troublesome questions I have been asking myself. Tsk~

I love being a conservationist, I love nature, and so I have decided to pursue Biological Science… because I know, I am sure that I love it…[*gulpz* <.< >.> <.< I'm THAT sure! haha. -.- celaka betul. ]

However, in this shitty world we live in, we need to earn enough recognition and cash to get us moving, living, and perhaps happy too. Hence hence, we are forced to pursue a course that can guarantee us a spot in the working field, ought to pursue a course that the CURRENT community is demand of. You see, I have realized that people in general can put you in a shitty situation although they do not possess such intention. If we have too much engineers already out there, you who pursues engineering would need to face some challenge just to get a seat in a company. And if you happen to be one of the so-so, average scoring student, you’d be taken aback and definitely shattered when the course you thought you love apparently could not provide you with the income you need. Somehow, slowly… the course you once loved is no longer so – you are forced to take up some job you don’t like doing. I am sure you have come across many people telling you that there is no such thing as “pursuing a job you love”. Trust me, I know. *points at mom* She told and taught me so. Sighs* So not only do you need to just love doing what you do, you need to be good at it and be able to hold on to it. Not an easy process. Alright, so some of you might say that if you love what you do, you’re most likely to be good at it. Well, sorry to bust your bubble but we’re talking about people who acquire the same passion as you do but may possess better skills. Uh-oh. -.- siap. No wonder there are so many kiasu people around..

So…what now? are you reconsidering the course you are about to pursue? Hmms…

I’ll share with you what I think the solution is.

…You combine Job A and Job B together. =)

I previously spoke about my own thoughts about Job A and Job B, and what I actually believe~ but so much for standing my views about it, I need to be a realist. Things apparently don’t go like that in the real world… perhaps not to people like me who is not an A star student all the way, who loves doing too many things~

You work for a job that gives you the cash then use that cash to pursue your dreams.

Do not work for some old braggart. Be your own boss. You are the boss.

Work with and for the community. Make it a better place. Produce better people.
