17.The Party Night @ the Baze!

Party night was awesome. The place was cool, dim, packed with people. There was food – good food. Music was great.

UAM conquered the dance floor. Students and teachers surrounded the band and started jumping, dancing, shouting. UAM is a staff band – teachers playing the guitars, drum and sing too! In case you are wondering, UAM stands for Unusually Attractive Men… and INDEED they were!! They looked so proper before jammin’ and once on the dance floor, after putting on a pair of cool sunglasses..BOOM! They were somebody else. I was so surprised!! The music they played was so good! I actually had hoped that they would play the whole night!! But ah well~*

While most students were on the dance floor, many others stood on the side and watched. I was one of them. With me were my colleagues – all refused to dance. Eventually however, Rdu managed to pull me down and we started dancing. Slowly, VBr joined in. So, the three of us at a corner while the rest were on the center of the floor.

Quite suddenly, a tall Ang Mo guy with sunglasses danced his way through between me and Rdu. He danced with me for a very short while, doing his very funny and awkward moves. He did not utter a word!! I could not stop laughing. Rdu was watching him like… “who’s this guy?” It was so funny. His friend then came to him and said “I’ve taken it” while holding a camera. I was like whaaaa…a o.O ? And then he danced his way out as easily and quickly as how he came between me and Rdu in the first place. I.. of course, later found out his name.

Well anyway, the party ended at 10.30pm. VBr refused to go without another go at Sandstorm. And So! We had Sandstorm. We danced like mad!! Well, I didn’t really. I only laughed like mad. It was really funny.. imagine this.. I was dancing with all my colleagues all of whom are older than me. Most of them are already mommies and daddies. They ROCK like crazy. I could not even shake like them!!! While dancing, J. shouted across the loud music.. “This is like aerobics. ” And she started doing the aerobic moves. I cracked up.

I could not take many pictures that night. My phone ran out of batt. and I haven’t any cameras with me. =’(

That…my lovely readers, was my night.
